EXPERIENCE THE ADVENTURE
IN THE PRESS
Paraiso is a super realistic and lively adventure – the plot is exciting and well-paced, and you can tell the author knows (lived?) a lot of the exploits.
I could easily picture myself in the midst of these adventurous scenes. Each individual character though flawed is also understandable and in a way lovable. The author allows us to walk in the character’s shoes, feeling their individual emotions and seeing through the eyes of others that we could not even begin to experience in our normal everyday lives.
This is one of my favorite types of books. It’s a fantastic tale about modern-day piracy on the seas—a fast-paced adventure filled with danger, thrill, and romance. The vivid scenes of life on the sea and in the air were equally enjoyable.
Timothy Grant Acker lived in Mexico for thirteen years as a lawyer and was touched by the sort of scoundrels and saints found in his books. He has explored the depths of life and experienced the power of forgiveness.
Born in New York, Acker lives (mostly) in Washington State and reluctantly practices law from time to time.
